Twenty Years On, Remembering ‘Tank Man’

It is twenty years since the world witnessed the Tiananmen Square Massacre. But along with the horror came an image of hope and defiance. It’s worth remembering that the students were not only fighting for democracy in China, they were also making a stand against widespread state corruption, something that people in today’s Britain can certainly empathise with.
